The far north of Australia is on similar latitude to central southern Africa (Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana) and it enjoys a similar climate with dry summers and tropical wet winter seasons. We only hunt in the dry season. Large areas are covered in a week of hunting and we operate air conditioned 4WD vehicles to travel to suitable hunting areas from our base camp each day.

We utilise modern technology to add all possible conveniences. Camp accommodation is in spacious, fully furnished, two room canvas cabin tents with a bedroom, dressing room and 24 hour power complete with international adaptors. Our large two roomed communal marquee has a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and reading materials in the living area and a spacious dining room. Facilities include unlimited, mains pressure hot showers and fully plumbed flush toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped with all normal appliances to enable the hygenic preparation of gourmet meals. A sophosticated remote area power system of generator, storage batteries and inverters supplies power for lighting, mains pressure showers, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerators and other appliances to provide 24 hour power without disturbing the evening silence. A pleasant, shady position beside the river completes the picture.
